I’d like to say a big “hello” to everyone.

Thanks for joining me today. You might be asking “why is Adam neglecting us?” Well, I have no excuse, so here’s a recap.

Friday the 4th:
I was wanting to visit a music store, but they were all closed. I played at a wedding, without any troubles, and then did fireworks with the extended family. Continuing the theme of gambling, I played poker at Jerod’s with the gang, and also watched “Big Trouble Little China.” It’s what I like to call a “crappy classic”; so check it out.

Saturday the 5th:
Steve and I finally made it to the music stores. I’ve decided on a 4 string Fender Jazz Bass. After seriously considering getting a 5 string, I’ve convinced myself that it would have a slower “action”, making it not nearly as fun to play. Should I go fretless or fretted? That’s the only decision to be made now… and I need to get my old clarinet sold so I can start bidding on basses.

Nothing exciting happened after that, on account of working from 5-12:30am. Very uneventful and very boring. But when I came home, I managed to talk to someone on the phone that I’ve been meaning to for a while. So thank you again.

Sunday the 6th:
After a very small amount of sleep, I managed to make it to Mass at the Cathedral downtown. I enjoyed some pretty fantastic music actually, and then it was off to work again. That’s where I am right now, but it’s not so bad. There was a small crisis when I noticed one of the platters start to brain wrap, but we managed to cut the film, untangle, and splice back. We were lucky it was just on a preview.

No new Adult Swim tonight… quite the shame. I feel like jamming with Steve, and maybe playing some more poker, so we’ll see what happens. I’ll be working until 5pm, so feel free to call and chat.
