I wish I could tell you that I have fabulous prizes awaiting those who pick the winning glasses out of these five, but I can not. You will, however, get the smug satisfaction of knowing that your vision will be MY vision for quite a few years.

I really like the first ones.
they have what i like about the nerd/scenester look w/out being tacky. they have the balance and visual weight of those styles w/out being gaudy.
Choice 4 is good too. they still look good. but i think i just like the lines on 1 more. they’d be a very solid choice if you don’t want to feel like you were trying to do the weezer look. They don’t do it, but i didn’t get the glasses I liked b/c weezer was so popular. I should have just said screw it and gotten them. and after all that, i’m thinking that i like 4 better now. they fit your face and eyes well.
regarding the others, i’ll keep it short. 2 seems too small. 3 seems droopy at the ends. and 5: round lenses don’t work quite as well on you, and I’ve never really liked the rimless look. sometimes it’s cool, but usually not.

It looks the least like you’re hard for an image. They’re unassuming in that way.
One would be second, but I like the slimmer look that four has. But if you want to be bold, go for one.
Five is the worst, and the rest are the Psuedo-intellectual/emo/trying to be different by playing into cliches look, and that is not an impression I would willing go for.

I like #4, because they are wider (top-to-bottom lens width).
For some reason, frames with narrower lenses (like #1) remind me of superhero goggles or something.
Mind you, this is from a guy who used to wear aviator frames…
#3, only to make the decision more confusing for you. No really, 3, they’re not as bulky but sill have the smart, yet hip…but not too hip appeal.
i would also like to add my praise about your dad’s observation about the surface area of the lenses.
they look better, AND they will likely look better.

The #4 glasses look pretty suave on you. I liked the first ones but the became afraid that they may make you look a tad like Andy Dick. Not that it’s a bad thing.

I like the “choice one” best as in frame, but the last one because they are clear. If you could find the first in a clear….bam…there ya go!
