I first began working for the Museum of World Treasures as a volunteer in the summer of 2001, and became an employee in 2002. My duties involved a variety of tasks such as giving tours, setting up new exhibits, and taking inventory of the collections, but in early 2006 I took on the research, writing, and graphic design of the museum’s exhibit signage as my primary task. As of February 2008, I am no longer an official employee of the museum, but I still take on projects as contract work and am involved in volunteer activities.
The examples of my work shown here were created in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, with the occasional bit of Illustrator mixed in. Some are fun and flashy, some are staid and functional.
