Stumbled upon this buried deep within my files, so figured I’d upload it. This sort of happened out of nowhere about 10 years ago when I was over at a friend’s house after school. We discovered that you could add your own voice packs to Worms 2, so we grabbed the nearest microphone and proceeded to record a number of clips in the voice of “Hammer the Hamster” (a character who often appeared in my comics, although original credit for both the character and the voice properly goes to my brother).
A lot of the clips won’t really make sense out of the context of the game, and there’s a few that we later discovered don’t really work due to the timing at which they are triggered, plus there’s a few that I’d just like to flat-out rerecord. Unfortunately, despite gaining the ability to do a number of other bizarre voices, I can no longer do the Hammer voice quite like I used to.
Not sure about compatibility with earlier/later versions of Worms, although I’m pretty sure the functionality still worked the same way in Worms Armageddon. I believe all you have to do is unzip to a folder, put that folder in with the other sound pack folders, and then import from within the game.
