I’m not crying, it’s my contacts; there must be something in my eye

Abandoned Pools – Clone High Theme (hehehe… a TV show theme song!)

Two W’s were what my day was about: work and a wedding.
The wedding went alright, but it certainly wasn’t the smoothest. I have no idea how the music timing can be so complicated, but I freaking had to play Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring and the Pachelbel Canon for about 9 MINUTES EACH. No one wants to hear that, even if they were nicely arranged by yours truly on the organ.

Then it was off to the Movie Machine, for 6 hours of work. I wasn’t looking forward to it, but I think I’m growing to like it. The people who work there are just so damn entertaining and interesting. There are a few cute girls who work there also, so that makes things fun.

One of the perks of working in the mall is the people watching. It’s amusing most of the time, but today something not so amusing happened. I saw an old man hobble into the mall, slowly, then fall to the ground, supporting himself with his hands in front of him, in a trembling runner’s stance. And he couldn’t get up. People walked by, not even bothering to help. Just as i was about to run around the counter to help, he finally managed to shakily help himself up off the floor. It made me want to cry.

  1. bag lady bag lady

you should have asked him if he was okay. that makes me want to cry, too.

  2. Yeah, I should have… but that probably would have made HIM sad/embarrassed. And I didn’t want anyone crying.
